This exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced individual to join our housekeeping team as a supervisor.
Responsibilities- You will be responsible for supervising the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Maintaining constant awareness of the cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of the hospital is crucial in your role.
- You will inspect hygiene and sanitation of assigned areas to ensure they meet defined standards, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Your role involves ensuring that housekeeping staff is working in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, providing guidance and support as needed.
- You will be responsible for arranging materials used for cleaning from housekeeping stores and coordinating project work and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
- Ensuring shift management is handled properly and all safety procedures are considered when mixing chemicals is also a critical aspect of your role.
