PIM Architect

GSPANN is seeking a passionate and talented Product Information Management (PIM) Architect to join our team. As we continue on our growth trajectory, we are looking for professionals who can help us drive success.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in PIM (Salsify, Akeneo, Syndigo, etc.) and Java/J2EE, JavaScript. A mandatory requirement is experience in PIM implementation with two different products (like Salsify & InRiver).

Key responsibilities include designing the overall architecture of the PIM system, including data models, workflows, and integration points. The architect will also design and implement integrations between the PIM system and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, e-commerce platforms, and DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems. Additionally, they will customize the PIM solution to handle specific business needs, such as product attributes, categories, and classifications, workflows.

A strong understanding of Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) and security measures to protect sensitive product information is essential. Experience planning for scalability to accommodate growing data volumes and increasing numbers of users and integrations is also necessary. Web services (REST & SOAP) knowledge and familiarity with public clouds like AWS, AZURE, or GCP are added advantages.

The successful candidate will have very strong experience in designing medium to large enterprise applications. They should have knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS, etc.). Exposure to authentication, authorization, and SSO using JWT, OAuth, and SAML is required. Pre-sales experience from defining end-to-end solution architecture covering technical, deployment architectures, non-functional & performance aspects, and proposals is also necessary. Experience in the retail (e-commerce) domain is mandatory.

This role requires excellent verbal, and written communication, and presentation skills. Agile execution methodology experience is mandatory. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to white papers and blogs, pre-sales activities, and practice-related activities like Developing POC, Accelerators development, Tools/Framework/Platform evaluation, and contribution to Marketing collaterals.
