Are you passionate about ensuring the reliability, scalability and efficiency of our services? As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing that our systems are healthy, well-monitored, automated and designed to scale. You'll work closely with our development teams from the early stages of design through to identifying and resolving production issues.

Job Description

In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of products focusing on automation, availability and performance. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the overall health, performance, efficiency and capacity of our production environment.

Requirements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact responsible for the overall health, performance, efficiency and capacity of our production environment
  • Collaborate with the development team on operations-related issues, providing support and acting as stakeholder
  • Develop tools to effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment
  • Take part in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation
  • Migrate applications off of legacy environments with minimal downtime
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field and significant experience in DevOps
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification
  • 4+ years experience in supporting hosted services in a high-volume customer-facing environment
  • Experience working on Continuous Integration / Delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Github actions
  • Demonstrated ability to write programs / utilities using a high-level programming language like: Go, Ruby, Python as well as Bash
