Job Title: HVAC System Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering to join our team as a system manager for HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Monitor maintenance operations to ensure adherence to blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • Engineering Transformation: Maintain and perform engineering transformation of the HVAC system to ensure safe and economical operation. Formulate SOPs and management systems, and supervise their implementation.
  • Maintenance Planning: Prepare equipment annual maintenance plans, monthly maintenance plans, and spare parts plans for the HVAC system. Arrange system maintenance and transformation work.
  • Construction Plans: Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving construction plans, including goals and objectives, work breakdown structures, detailed scope descriptions, schedules, risk management approaches, milestone descriptions, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and staffing requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems. Establish schedules and methods for troubleshooting operational issues and review operations associated with the power plant.
  • Safety Inspection: Ensure routine general inspection of electrical and electronics machinery, equipment, and maintenance. Plan, cost, and budget maintenance services, new installations, and consumables.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Identify and perform mechanical system preventative maintenance procedures, such as changing air filters and belts, greasing bearings, and cleaning ducts, coils, and condensation pans.
  • Purchase and Procurement: Participate in the procurement of generators, air conditioning, HVAC, electrical appliances, and required assets through an established tendering system.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare bills, purchase requisitions, internal requisitions, vouchers, and ensure spares availability for maintenance purposes.
  • Tech Specification: Prepare draft technical specifications, BOQs, scopes of work for capital items, including evaluation and inspection.
  • HVAC Management: Manage maintenance activities related to HVAC systems, lifts, electrical and electronics devices, and equipment.
  • Project Planning: Plan HVAC upgradation projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shutdowns and installations, integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs, verifying code requirements, and updating cost estimates.
  • Audit and Evaluation: Perform audits on all HVAC systems, collect data, and perform periodic evaluations and monitor logbooks. Manage change processes and resolve issues.
  • System Operations: Manage operation and maintenance of chillers and install and maintain dehumidification systems. Oversee all maintenance activities.
  • Risk Management: Analyze load programs, perform required calculations, manage electrical requirements for HVAC equipment, recommend improvements, identify and assess risks under management/ownership, develop and implement risk response strategies, monitor risks and response strategies, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
