Implementation Project Lead

Job Title: Customer Implementation Manager

This role is responsible for leading the implementation of new customer accounts with a focus on medium to high complexity projects. The successful candidate will bridge sales and operational activities, ensuring a smooth transition of new or additional business into our organization.

The key responsibilities include client relationship management, project management, and operational engagement. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, lead them through the onboarding process, and manage project scope to ensure solutions align with what was sold.

You will also participate in solution design, develop innovative operational solutions, and ensure optimized operations and high-quality service delivery. Additionally, you will review the pipeline for upcoming client implementations, assess operational viability of complex opportunities, and support new business by engaging in sales.

• Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional and global key clients at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Lead clients through the onboarding process, acting as the main point of contact for implementations and issue resolution.
  • Manage project scope with clients, ensuring solutions align with what was sold.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to discuss progress, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and explore development opportunities.
• Project Management:
  • Lead the overall implementation project plan across geographies and functions.
  • Provide visibility of project status to stakeholders by establishing milestones, stage gates, and readiness criteria; track progress and escalate issues.
  • Set expectations and confirm agreements with stakeholders.
  • Manage risks from sales to stable operation, ensuring profitability and avoiding 'cure' situations.
  • Remove roadblocks to meet timelines and requirements.
  • Establish success criteria, adjusting solutions and timelines as needed.
  • Close implementations based on mutually defined criteria.
• Operational Engagement:
  • Participate in solution design and develop innovative operational solutions.
  • Ensure optimized operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Commercial Engagement:
  • Review the pipeline for upcoming client implementations.
  • Assess operational viability of complex opportunities.
  • Support new business by engaging in sales, presenting implementation methodology, and showcasing our onboarding capabilities.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and project management skills. You should have experience in managing complex projects, developing strong relationships with clients, and ensuring timely delivery of results.

A background in supply chain, customer service, or project management would be highly desirable. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
