Microservices Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Microservices Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing our cloud-based data platform using microservices architecture. This includes working with a cloud-based microservices architecture to support and collaborate with our data platform, designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and tools, and automating infrastructure deployment as code.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop our cloud-based data platform using microservices architecture.
  • Work with a cloud-based microservices architecture to support and collaborate with the data platform.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment as code.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, DevOps, systems administration, and monitoring/alerting. You should also have experience with languages such as Python, Java, and Shell Scripting, build tools like Gradle, infrastructure tools like Terraform and Chef, container infrastructure like Docker and Docker Compose, databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server, and source control like Git and Bitbucket. Additionally, you should have Linux administration skills, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
