Audiology Specialist

Job Title: Audiologist

Responsibilities:

• Operate and calibrate audiometric equipment for accurate diagnostic results.
• Administer comprehensive audiological tests to identify hearing disorders in adults and children.
• Interpret test results, provide counseling to patients with hearing difficulties, and recommend suitable treatment plans.
• Maintain current knowledge of hearing aids and assistive devices to effectively fit and verify them for patients.
• Educate patients on the features and settings of their hearing aids to optimize their use.
• Identify and manage disorders related to hearing, balance, and tinnitus through thorough testing and diagnosis.
• Develop effective care pathways and treatment plans for managing hearing difficulties, taking into account patient progress and preferences.

Business Operations:

• Manage patient records, reports, and sales data accurately and efficiently.
• Closely monitor stocks, marketing materials, and other essential resources required to operate the clinic.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including doctors and patients, by proactively communicating and providing excellent customer service.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to plan outreach activities and schedule home visits as needed to meet patient requirements.
• Take ownership of patient progress, addressing any challenges they may face with their hearing aids, and ensuring timely resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) or Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP).
• A minimum of 6 months to 5 years of clinical experience is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to go above and beyond expectations, and adaptability are highly valued.
