About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our software applications.

You will analyze software from a security perspective, identify potential vulnerabilities, and work with development teams to resolve security issues. Your input will help improve security in our SDLC and ensure that application security requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze software from a security perspective and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Work with development teams to resolve security issues.
  • Provide guidance and workshops to developers on secure coding practices.
  • Mentor new team members and act as the go-to person for security in your area.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has a good understanding of application security and common application security vulnerabilities. You should have experience in frontend, backend, and mobile security domains, and be an expert in one of them. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of DevOps and cloud native technologies.

A successful track record in identifying, triaging, and resolving application security issues is essential. A background in development and a good understanding of the SDLC are also required. English language proficiency on a professional level is necessary.

Desirable Skills:

  • Implementing OWASP ASVS/M-ASVS and SKF.
  • Implementing SAST, SCA, IAST, and RASP tools in the SDLC.
  • Facilitating threat modeling sessions with development teams.
  • Pen testing web and mobile applications.
  • Training and guiding developers on application security concepts.
  • Relevant regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
