Hiring of a consultant for leadership and management skills training is required to enhance the abilities of community committees.
Community-based organizations in rural areas need practical training to develop their capacity for self-organization and effective governance.
A Leadership and Management Skills Training (LMST) program will be designed and implemented to build the capacities of members of Village Development Committees (VDCs) in key areas such as team leadership, planning, decision-making, conflict resolution, communication, and participatory governance.
The consultant will work closely with PMS staff to develop a comprehensive training manual, toolkit, and IEC materials tailored to the needs of rural communities.
The training sessions will include interactive sessions, group discussions, role plays, games, and real-life scenarios to ensure maximum participation and learning impact.
The consultant will also provide support to PMS staff in reinforcing key leadership concepts and communication skills among VDC members through IEC materials.
A final report will be submitted detailing the outcomes of the training, including attendance, participation, assessment results, and lessons learned.
About the AssignmentThis assignment aims to strengthen the resilience of flood-affected communities in Rajanpur by enhancing their disaster risk reduction and livelihood capacities.
- To achieve this goal, we require a consultant to design and conduct a 5-day Leadership and Management Skills Training for PMS staff.
The selected consultant should have expertise in training design, delivery, and impact evaluation, as well as experience working with rural communities and local committees.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Rural Development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in community training or leadership development.
- Experience working with rural communities and local committees.
- Proven expertise in training design, delivery, and impact evaluation.
- Proficiency in Urdu and strong facilitation skills.
We are looking for a consultant who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Deliverables- A comprehensive training manual including training schedule, content, methodologies, and tools.
- A structured 5-day training agenda.
- IEC materials for VDC members to reinforce key leadership concepts and communication skills.
- A final report detailing the outcomes of the training, including attendance, participation, assessment results, and lessons learned.
Candidates are requested to submit their proposals on or before the specified deadline. Proposals should include a covering letter referencing the source of advertisement and showing suitability for the mentioned training.
Proposals should also include:
- Concept notes.
- Financial proposal duly signed.
- Day-wise schedule of trainings with key training contents and methodology.
- List of similar assignments completed previously.
- Sample of manual prepared previously.
- Updated profile/CV of the trainer/co-trainer.
