Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Market Development Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth through technical excellence and market insight.

  1. Work closely with R&D and marketing teams to plan and launch new products.
  2. Provide technical expertise to drive innovation and sustainability.
  3. Identify new technologies and develop integrated solutions to address grower problems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with R&D team to stay up-to-date on new developments.
  2. Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to deliver successful pre-launch demonstrations.
  3. Organize pre-launch field days to showcase new products.
  4. Provide technical assistance to R&D colleagues.
  5. Develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
  6. Innovate and think critically to build confidence within commercial teams.
  7. Monitor competition activities and new developments in agriculture.
  8. Establish partnerships with research institutes and academia to stay informed on agricultural developments.
  9. Engage with farmers to understand their needs and offer sustainable solutions.
  10. Identify key challenges in Pakistan agriculture and provide innovative solutions.
  11. Develop a Learning and Development Center to enhance crop programs and stakeholder confidence.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in techno-commercial roles.
  • Master's degree in relevant field (e.g. Entomology, Pathology, Agronomy).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of key crops in Pakistan.
  • Knowledge of important insects and pests of these crops.
  • Experience in farm management.
