This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge machine learning and big data algorithms in a dynamic start-up environment.

The role requires a highly autonomous individual to install, configure and support IoT solutions for multiple clients.

  • Experience working with ELK Stack is essential.
  • The successful candidate will prepare installation configuration of software and equipment for clients including post-go-live support.
  • Maintenance of IT and industrial IoT infrastructure is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will visit customer sites to troubleshoot issues, implement fixes and coordinate with the product team to communicate with wider R&D research.
  • Strong collaboration with Sales to implement trials and site surveys ensuring technical solution matches customers' needs machines and factory environment.
  • Configuration and testing of hardware components in preparation for installation.
  • Installation and validation of devices to ensure accurate data capture.
  • Coordination with Sales and Customer Success teams to fix technical problems or install replacement equipment.
  • Close collaboration with the product team to identify new technologies serving customer needs and build prototype or MVP solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python, C# or C/C++ is desirable.
  • Linux operating system knowledge and experience are essential.
  • Previous experience delivering projects in Agile environment.
  • TDD familiarity.
  • Open-source development tools methodology understanding.
  • Embedded systems security mechanisms.
  • Strong debugging skills using latest tools.
  • Ability to develop and debug multithreaded multiprocess code.
  • Able to understand complex issues discuss via phone email other methods.
  • Flexible can-do approach.
  • Consultancy customer facing role.

Desired Skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in software development.
  • Networking protocols standards including TCP/IP Wi-Fi UPnP DLNA HLS MPEG-DASH.
  • Secure interfacing head-end systems.
  • Scrum methodologies.
