As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and pricing details for clients with commercial projects. Your duties will include placing bids for fence building jobs, submitting detailed labor and materials cost plans, estimating multiple projects simultaneously, and using computer programs to provide accurate project estimates and outlines.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction materials and methods, preferably related to fencing projects. Experience with Bluebeam and Planswift is highly desirable. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the USA market is also preferred.

We are seeking an experienced estimator who can work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, with a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements for custom fencing projects. You will perform detailed quantity takeoffs (QTO) and material takeoffs (MTO) using software such as Planswift, RSMeans, and Bluebeam. Accurate cost estimates will be prepared using industry-standard tools and databases, adhering to established estimating procedures.

A key aspect of this role is communicating with clients and team members to gather required information and provide clarification regarding the estimate. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records of estimates and bid proposals.
