Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to oversee the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
This position involves performing daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Associate degree or at least one year of experience
- Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in XERO, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other applications
This is a 3rd shift night job working from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am (Mon to Fri). We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment for this role.
Job SpecificationsKey Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Recording of debits and credits
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget
