Job Title: Medical Hematologist Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified medical professional with expertise in hematology to join our team. As a medical hematologist specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting lab tests and participating in quality audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Work: Reporting and interpreting all tests performed in the Haematology section.
  • Professional Development: Participating in institutional continuing education programs and public awareness initiatives.
  • Administrative Tasks: Participating in departmental administrative committees as assigned by the section head or department chairperson.
  • Quality Assurance: Actively participating in quality audits and initiatives such as CAP and JCIA.
  • Conference Attendance: Attending sectional, departmental, and national meetings, conferences, and workshops.

Requirements:

  • A MBBS degree with FCPS/FRCPath/American Board certification or equivalent.
  • Training as a fellow or equivalent for a minimum of 4 years in a reputable institution, and/or a diploma in the appropriate field.
  • Demonstrated scholarship through research or publication in peer-reviewed journals or substantial contributions to education.
