Job Title: Civil Site Engineer - High Voltage Substation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil site engineer to lead our team in managing civil works related to high voltage substations and transmission line infrastructure.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in remote locations and under challenging site conditions.

About the Role:
  • Manage all civil construction activities at substation and transmission line sites.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to guarantee smooth project execution.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily and weekly site reports, conduct quality control checks, and enforce adherence to QA/QC procedures.
  • Manage site logistics, materials, and workforce planning.
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Participate in site inspections, audits, and commissioning activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil works for high voltage substations (132kV and above) and transmission lines.
  • Demonstrated experience in foundation works, cable trenches, control buildings, and tower/pole foundations.
  • Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and local construction codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and civil engineering software.
