Seeking Research Professionals for Mapping Impact of Feminist Politics on Pakistani Culture
The appointed research fellow will contribute to a Higher Education Commission project investigating the impact of feminist politics on Pakistani culture. The project aims to explore issues, gains, and challenges within the indigenous feminist movement from 2000 to 2021.
This one-year contract position involves working in the Department of English Literature at Government College University Faisalabad under the supervision of Dr. Asma Aftab, Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator.
We are looking for PhD scholars working in relevant departments, including Humanities, with expertise in areas such as English Literature, Sociology, Anthropology, Gender/Women Studies, and Mass Communication.
A successful candidate will possess strong research skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities. The selected individual will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the project's objectives.
Beyond the required qualifications, the ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for feminist politics and cultural studies, with a passion for contributing to academic research.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 56,000 and have the opportunity to extend their contract based on performance.
