Head of Academic Affairs

This critical role involves overseeing the School's leadership, management, and operations, with a focus on driving School Improvement initiatives and collaborating with the Regional office. As the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for leading the School towards achieving its objectives.

• School Strategic Planning: Develop the school as a successful learning community with a positive impact on students' education.
• Performance Targets: Collaborate with EOS to set and achieve school development targets, focusing on growth, academic excellence, and improvement in key areas.
• Leadership and Role Modeling: Serve as a courageous leader, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement, setting a high standard for teachers and staff.
• Program Design and Implementation: Contribute to the development and execution of school operations and improvement programs, partnering with the Head of South Schools and other regional schools.
• Adherence to Organizational Standards: Ensure the School aligns with the organizational vision, mission, policies, and procedures.
• School Progress Monitoring: Oversee strategic planning, human resource development, and student progress through the annual school development plan.
• In-Service Training: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of professional development activities, working closely with the regional team.
• Teacher and Staff Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive performance appraisals of teachers and staff, assessing their contributions to the school's development goals.
• Fiscal Management: Promote responsible financial management, ensuring the School operates efficiently and effectively supports teaching and learning.
• Decision-Making: Utilize data analysis to inform timely decisions about student and school performance.

- Holding a B.ED or M.ED degree is compulsory.
