We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing, preferably in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage initial and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers.">
  • Prepare, complete, and submit applications to payers (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers), state boards, and hospitals.">
  • Track application statuses and proactively follow up to ensure timely approvals.">
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized credentialing files and databases.">
  • Verify provider information, including licensure, education, training, and work history.">
  • Monitor and manage expirables (licenses, DEA, malpractice insurance, etc.).">
  • Communicate regularly with providers and internal teams to gather required documentation.">
  • Ensure compliance with NCQA, Joint Commission, CMS, and payer-specific requirements.">
  • Respond to payer inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or delays.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Minimum 2 years of credentialing experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment.">
  • Knowledge of CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and payer credentialing systems.">
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software.">
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.">
  • Graduation associate's degree preferred.">
