**Network Engineer Job Summary:**

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our network infrastructure team and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our network services. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Network Design and Implementation: Design, install, and operate all voice, video, data, core, and FTTH network and server infrastructure within our service provider network.
  2. Network Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance and resolve issues to maintain optimal performance, network capacity, and uptime.
  3. Telecommunications Equipment Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend telecommunication equipment/appliances to support growth and enhance existing systems, processes, and the development of new products and services.
  4. Capacity Planning and Forecasting: Monitor network link capacity and forecast areas for future expansion.
  5. Network Troubleshooting and Security: Troubleshoot broadband systems, including routing/switching equipment, transport equipment, DHCP, DNS & DDOS servers, and IP voice switching equipment. Implement and uphold network security measures in collaboration with IT & Security Supervisor.
  6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, changes, and standard procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with the IT team to improve overall network efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Technology Updates and Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest networking technologies and industry trends. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest technologies and advancements in the field.
  8. Emergency Response and On-Call Support: Manage the on-call rotation for after-hours network support, including outages.
