The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of software delivery pipelines in a flexible agile model.

The team manages on-premise and cloud environments, requiring expertise in Automation, CI/CD, Build & Release Management, installation and patching automation, and Cloud technologies.

This role involves becoming an SME on the business product to ensure its reliability and security, closely working with internal networking and external clients for environment integrations, leading key DevOps Initiatives, managing and supporting cloud development environments, provisioning and managing Cloud environments (AWS/GCP), and collaborating with Engineering teams in an Agile environment.

  • Become an expert on our business product and support it to ensure it's reliable and secure.
  • Closely work with internal networking and external clients for environment integrations.
  • Lead key DevOps Initiatives for specific products.
  • Manage and Support cloud development environments.
  • Provision and Manage Cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams in an Agile environment to remove roadblocks and facilitate successful delivery of work items.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Developer/SysAdmin/DevOps engineer.
  • Experience with several open source tools (Ansible, Jenkins ,Git, etc).
  • Strong expertise in Jenkins.
  • Experience with some Programming languages such as Java, C# and Scripting languages such as Python, Perl.
  • Strong experience with Red Hat Linux. Must feel comfortable with shell scripting.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, managing cloud infrastructure and writing CloudFormation.
  • Experience operating with observability tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch or GCP Cloud logging.
  • Ability to influence and provide technical direction to members of the agile team.
  • Proactive team player with ability to work in a globally dynamic environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously, organizational skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, computer science degree preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Load balancers, firewalls, TCP/IP protocols.
  • Solid knowledge of web architectural and design patterns.
