Accounting Specialist

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the financial obligations for our organization and its affiliates. The candidate should be proficient in processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

  • The Accounting Specialist is responsible for data entry of vendor invoices.
  • Maintain timely entry and scanning of invoices and Payment Authorization vouchers.
  • Resolve any invoice problems.
  • Run an age payable report weekly to clear outstanding invoices before month end.
  • Maintain and update the Payment Authorization Voucher signature book for manual checks.
  • Perform various administrative and other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department.

The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of operational routine accounting functions and be familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Needs to have a complete understanding of operational routine accounting functions.
