Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Engineer to join our team at Seronic Group. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Telecom projects and hands-on experience with Optical Fiber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site installation of data cabling projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies relevant to the role.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in installation, termination, and testing of all types of copper cables (cat5/5e/6/6A/coax/telephony).
  • Familiarity with Fibre Splicing tools & Cobra.
  • Experience in installation, termination, and testing of Fibre Optic Cabling.
  • Experience with the installation of containment solutions.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in the safe and correct use of ladders and other access equipment.
  • Proficiency in the correct and safe use of power tools.
  • Quality management – monitors and takes pride in the quality of their own work as well as looking for ways to improve and promote quality.
