Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QHSE Lead to oversee and implement effective Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures within our organization.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time permanent position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's QHSE performance.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Risk Assessment & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with workplace processes, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to prevent accidents and injuries.

Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, maintaining and updating documentation and records as needed.

Training & Awareness: Conduct training sessions to educate employees on QHSE practices and protocols, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.

Auditing & Continuous Improvement: Plan and execute internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.

Incident Management: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes, developing strategies to prevent recurrence.

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers on QHSE matters, ensuring that customer and regulatory expectations are met or exceeded.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years in QHSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
  • Proficiency in QHSE management systems, risk assessment tools, and audit methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
