Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
  • Verify understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Handling confidential information
  • Liaising between the service user and service provider

The ideal candidate will have fluency in both English and Hindko, as well as a strong educational background in a relevant field such as English Language, Literature or Teaching. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Hindko
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
  • Ideal IELTS score of 6.5 or higher
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
