Fixed Assets Assistant Role Overview

The Fixed Assets Assistant plays a crucial part in maintaining organizational asset integrity.

This position entails tracking and monitoring fixed assets modules, ensuring seamless operations. Strategies for physical inventory management are developed and executed collaboratively with teams to optimize processes.

Inspecting Capex items upon arrival involves coordinating with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations. Conducting random fixed asset surveys, identification, and tagging processes is also part of the role. Compliance and efficiency are guaranteed through these actions.

Collaboration with Fixed Assets, accounts, and inventory teams yields daily, weekly, and monthly reports providing valuable insights into asset performance. Ensuring accurate placement and maintenance of fixed asset tags promotes transparency and accountability. Regular stock counts include daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventories to maintain up-to-date records.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Intermediate qualification with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Candidates with an accounts background will be preferred.
