Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using TypeScript, NestJS, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable backend solutions.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient server-side logic for web and mobile applications, developing and optimizing MongoDB database structures, creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, leveraging ElasticSearch for powerful search capabilities, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement efficient server-side logic for web and mobile applications using TypeScript and NestJS.
  • Database Management: Develop and optimize MongoDB database structures, queries, and interactions to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs with proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Search Functionality: Leverage ElasticSearch for implementing powerful search capabilities and data analysis features.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance system responsiveness.
  • Safety Measures: Implement robust security measures to protect user data and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • System Architecture: Architect scalable backend systems with fault-tolerance and redundancy built-in.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid foundation in backend development, as well as experience with TypeScript, NestJS, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch. Additionally, you should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Languages and Frameworks: Strong proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript, 3+ years of experience with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.
  • Databases: Deep knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Search Functionality: Experience with ElasticSearch for implementing search functionality and data analytics.
  • API Design: Understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation.
  • Authentication: Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
  • Automated Testing: Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
