Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and secure connectivity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Network Management:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot internet connectivity, firewalls, switches, and VPNs to ensure optimal network performance.
    • Implement reverse block policies (whitelisting/blacklisting) to control access to websites/applications in accordance with organizational guidelines.
    • Monitor network activity for breaches and unauthorized access using tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall logs.
  • Endpoint Support:
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on employee laptops, including OS errors, driver conflicts, and connectivity problems.
    • Perform repairs or coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements, such as screens and keyboards.
    • Install, configure, and update authorized software, including productivity tools and security patches.
  • Policy Enforcement & Compliance:
    • Enforce reverse block policies by configuring content filtering tools to block non-compliant websites/services.
    • Monitor bandwidth usage to ensure adherence to fair usage policies, restricting non-work activities such as streaming and gaming.
    • Investigate policy violations and escalate repeat offenders.
  • User Training & Assistance:
    • Train employees on IT policies, including acceptable internet use and security protocols.
    • Provide step-by-step guidance for basic troubleshooting, such as Wi-Fi connectivity and email setup.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain records of network configurations, device inventories, and policy violations.
    • Generate monthly reports on network performance, security incidents, and policy compliance.
