Director of Fashion and Operations

The Fashion Retail Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a boutique. This involves working closely with a small team to manage activities, potentially requiring long hours and/or travel.

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of skilled professionals including tailors and masters
  • Develop and create new clothing designs by driving innovation and creativity
  • Promote and sell products at the boutique through effective marketing strategies
  • Oversee financial management, including accounts, budgeting and cost control measures
  • Determine employee salaries and leave entitlements based on performance and company policies
  • Prepare annual expenditure estimates and recommend improvements to senior management
  • Maintain accurate records using management information systems ensuring seamless data integration
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of business premises and facilities creating a positive work environment
