Back-End Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. This contract position involves developing and maintaining the server-side of web applications.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
  2. Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role;
  3. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails;
  4. Experience with database design, management, and optimization (MySQL, MongoDB);
  5. Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
  6. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC);
  7. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail; and
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

This is a contract position offering a competitive salary. The position is located in Karachi, and accommodation is not provided. We are able to sponsor a work visa for qualified candidates if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain server-side code for web applications;
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure smooth integration of UI/UX elements;
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code;
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues on the server-side;
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability;
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development.
