Key System Administrator Role

This is a critical position in the organization, responsible for overseeing the core banking platform and its associated applications. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of the systems across all environments.

The role involves administering system configurations, performing Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions, supporting testing activities, and maintaining cloud infrastructure primarily using AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure stable and secure system configurations.
  • Administer user provisioning, role assignments, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews.
  • Maintain separate identities for privileged and non-privileged activities, and participate in periodic access audits.
  • Document system changes, access provisioning, and configurations.
  • Coordinate with application vendors for system upgrades, issue resolution, and release deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and suggest or implement tuning/improvements.
  • Assist in defining and documenting standard operating procedures related to system administration and access control.
  • Support the onboarding of new systems or modules by preparing environment setups and user roles.
  • Escalate risks or abnormalities in user behavior or system anomalies to relevant teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for monitoring, fixing, and reporting incidents within the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
  • Train or guide junior staff on system usage, SOPs, and safe administration practices.
