Lead Web Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Web Developer to spearhead all web-related tasks.

This is a long-term position with potential for growth into a leadership role as our team scales.

The ideal candidate should be creative, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal input when needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing custom websites using WordPress
  • Setting up themes, plugins, and custom features per project
  • Optimizing website performance and speed
  • Managing plugin stack: security, SEO, forms, backups, optimization
  • Performing complete on-page SEO (titles, internal linking, schema, image optimization, etc.)
  • Setting up Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel, and Tag Manager
  • Creating clean, functional dashboards for client performance tracking
  • Communicating daily via chat
  • Logging hours and availability via Homebase

As we grow, this role may involve onboarding and guiding junior developers or contractors.

You will be working closely with freelance writers, designers, and other team members.

Bonuses will be paid based on project completion, performance, and initiative.

Standard background verifications will be conducted for all final candidates. This includes confirmation of your criminal record, education credentials, and prior work experience.

  • Project updates in Bloom
  • Task/time tracking via Homebase

The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and self-management abilities.

Additional Responsibilities

May include documentation or SOP creation.
