Futsal Coach Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Futsal Coach to lead our futsal program at an adopted government school.

Job Summary:

  • Develop and implement structured futsal sessions to enhance player skills, agility, and game awareness.
  • Identify and develop young talent, create match strategies, and provide performance feedback to players.
  • Organize inter-school/intra-school tournaments and prepare students for competitive events.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development:

  • Design and conduct futsal training sessions that cater to the needs of diverse age groups and skill levels.
  • Implement fitness programs to improve player endurance and overall physical fitness.

Team Management & Coaching:

  • Select and train a team of young athletes to compete in local and national tournaments.
  • Develop match strategies and tactics to ensure optimal team performance.

Event & Competition Coordination:

  • Plan and execute inter-school/intra-school tournaments, ensuring smooth logistics and fair competition.
  • Coordinate with schools and other stakeholders to schedule and host events.

Discipline & Sportsmanship:

  • Instill teamwork, discipline, and sports ethics among players, emphasizing the importance of fair play and respect for opponents.
  • Ensure adherence to school sports policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Health, or Sports Sciences is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in coaching or training youth athletes.
  • Strong command over futsal techniques and strategies is essential.
