
Inventory Management Professional

As an inventory management professional, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the purchasing and procurement processes for construction renovation projects, laundry, Power Plant, UMP, MEP, stock items, and other non-medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Process new stock item requests based on policy and pre-approved criteria, ensuring seamless operations.
- Monitor re-order levels through reports and raise requisitions when needed, maintaining efficient inventory levels.
- Prepare forecasts, review periodically, and communicate updates to buyers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Monitor loan inventory transactions and ensure proper recording and settlement, upholding accuracy and transparency.
- Review par levels of consignment inventory and send consumption reports, enabling data-driven decisions.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet goals, driving business success.
- Send alerts about stock status to end-users, ensuring timely communication.
- Improve user satisfaction and compliance, prioritizing customer needs.
- Review stock-out and critical items, follow up for timely arrangements, and analyze reasons for stock-outs, identifying areas for improvement.
- Engage with end-users for satisfaction and issue resolution, fostering strong relationships.
- Circulate expiry reports and follow up for timely utilization or replacement, maintaining a proactive approach.
- Monitor slow-moving items and coordinate disposal or utilization, minimizing waste and maximizing value.
- Provide reports and analyses, updating item parameters in the system, ensuring data integrity.
- Review and improve systems/processes, driving continuous improvement.
This role requires a graduate degree, preferably with courses in inventory management, and at least 1 year of experience in inventory management. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is also essential. Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position.
