Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Plugin Development
    • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
    • Evaluate and ensure plugins are secure, efficient, and compatible with the latest WordPress versions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve plugin-related issues.
    • Collaborate with designers to integrate third-party APIs and services into plugins.
  • Theme Development
    • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes.
    • Implement responsive design principles to ensure themes work across various devices.
    • Optimize themes for speed and performance.
    • Ensure themes adhere to SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Full Stack Development
    • Develop and implement custom functionality using WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.
    • Collaborate with designers to translate PSDs or wireframes into functional WordPress themes and plugins.
    • Integrate WordPress with other systems and platforms as needed.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of themes and plugins.
    • Implement automated testing where applicable.
  • Maintenance and Updates
    • Regularly update themes and plugins to comply with WordPress core updates.
    • Monitor and optimize website performance.
    • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing WordPress installations.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the design, marketing, and content teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery is preferred.

Familiarity with other CMS platforms and web technologies is also beneficial.

Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce is a plus.
