Job Overview:

A Radiology Technologist is responsible for promoting teamwork by serving as a Team Leader, assisting fellow technologists, and instructing interns.

The ideal candidate will analyze requests from physicians to identify specific imaging requirements for each patient's modality.

Evaluating patients' suitability for oral and IV contrast and managing reactions are essential duties of this role.

Key responsibilities include performing scanning procedures, including patient consent, preparation, positioning, image capture, and record-keeping.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing radiographs using film processors or computer-generated methods.

Conducting quality control activities, monitoring equipment operations, and reporting malfunctions are critical tasks in this position.

This role involves performing administrative tasks, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and organizing film retrieval.

The Imaging Technology Specialist must ensure proper waste management practices and participate in internal trainings.

They will also be responsible for safeguarding radiation badges and performing other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Science (Radiology) or higher relevant education is required.
  • Candidates with at least 2 years' relevant experience in a reputable hospital will be given preference.
