Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scalable, high-performing PHP applications on leading platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with User Experience specialists to build innovative applications that meet business needs.
  • Guide the full web application development lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Analyze project requirements, identifying areas for improvement in website and application performance.
  • Write clean, secure, test-driven code that adheres to industry best practices.
  • Maintain databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and debug complex issues in web applications.
  • Optimize application performance through thorough UI and backend testing.
  • Work closely with frontend and mobile app developers on backend project needs, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving technologies and anticipate changes in project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a PHP developer with Laravel or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency with PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  • Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
  • Experience with database design and administration.
  • Understanding of open-source projects like WordPress.
  • Experience with common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc).
  • Commitment to following best design and coding practices.
