
Front Desk Coordinator

Job Summary:
The role of a Receptionist is to provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff members. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a polite and helpful manner
- Book appointments over the phone or in-person for clinics or procedures
- Use communication devices as per requirements
- Place orders for patient meals and update food services department as required
- Coordinate with bed management and admission department regarding patient referrals and transfers
- Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Provide administrative support to the unit team
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of reception area and unit
- Ensure availability of all necessary forms and stationery
- Assist in quality audits and keep ward manual updated
- Act as a unit coordinator as assigned by a manager
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of front desk or customer services experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a professional environment
- Ability to remain tactful, patient, and calm in stressful situations
- Ability to problem-solve using creative and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to work in COVID wards and critical patient care areas
- Willingness to work in shifts
