Research Fellow Position in Environmental Sciences

Job Opportunity: We are seeking highly motivated Research Fellows to join our team in the field of Environmental Sciences.
Project Overview:
The project aims to investigate the persistence of cry-protein in soils under Bt cotton in Punjab. The research will focus on linking cry-protein persistence with microbial diversity, enzymatic activity, nutrient cycling, and gaseous emissions.
Salary: A consolidated honorarium of Rs. 10,000 per month is offered for each post.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for working in both field soil sampling and lab incubations, biochemical analyses, preparing project reports, writing new proposals, and manuscript writing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- M.Sc or M.Phil degree in Environmental Sciences or related fields
- Good working experience in soil biogeochemical analyses, soil microbiology, greenhouse studies, and report writing
Benefits:
- Purely temporary positions
- 12-month project duration
