Key Role: Finance Systems Data Engineer

Lead the development and maintenance of finance systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, finance systems, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data infrastructure that supports finance systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
  • Apply data modeling techniques to design efficient and scalable data structures that support finance systems' reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Utilize ETL tools like Informatica or similar to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into finance systems.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure that the data infrastructure meets their needs for financial consolidation, cost allocation, and profitability reporting.
  • Manage finance technology projects, ensuring timely delivery with adherence to budgets.
  • Interact with various stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and business users.
  • Align data from diverse sources to the standardized OFSAA data model, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain high data quality standards across finance systems.
  • Optimize data processing and reporting within finance systems.
  • Integrate new data sources and applications with finance systems.
  • Understand regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, handling finance systems like OFSAA, Financial Consolidation, and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Expertise in data modeling techniques and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) to manage data integration and transformation processes.
