Job Title: Research Assistant

Research Opportunities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Assistant to join our team in the Department of Zoology. The successful candidate will assist in conducting research on gastrointestinal parasites in peafowl populations kept in captivity.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and analyzing data related to gastrointestinal parasites in peafowl populations.
  • Conducting laboratory experiments to test the efficacy of albendazole and levamisole against these parasites.
  • Preparing reports and presentations on research findings.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a strong background in zoology or a related field and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in laboratory techniques and data analysis software is also essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000/- (extendable up to two years) and opportunities for professional development and growth.
