Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Maintaining general ledger, accounts payable/receivable records, and cash disbursements in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Preparing various financial statements and reports for management use.
• Preparing local, state, and federal tax assessment reports.
• Performing month-end closing processes, including reconciling ledger accounts and identifying causes of large monthly income statement variances.
• Assisting with payroll processing, setting up new employees, and calculating and filing payroll tax reports.
• Providing financial information for regulatory reporting and monitoring company compliance with GAAP and Part 32 requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
