Senior Software Engineer

A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing server applications of various software platforms, including writing Restful APIs to be consumed by client applications. The role ensures that the functionality, security, and performance of the server application meet design requirements and are completely bug-free.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Estimate assigned tasks and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, along with unit tests.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Tune code for enhanced security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing any existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Control versions of code using version control systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices.
  • Lead a team of software engineers, mentoring them through training and guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in the industry, with expertise in Spring Boot & Hibernate.
  • Strong knowledge of MicroServices, RESTful APIs, and enterprise-level web applications.
  • Experience working with tools like Git, Maven, JFrog, UDeploy, and PostgreSQL as DB Engine.
  • Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments, Shell scripting, and Relational DB Skills for PostgreSQL + Terraforms.
  • Passion for staying on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and an attitude to discuss and bring those into play.
  • Strong agile/scrum development experience and collaboration skills within distributed project teams.
