Notice Analyst Role

As a Notice Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. This position involves handling various types of notices, including those from the IRS and state tax departments, on behalf of individuals and businesses.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting notices, preparing draft replies, and maintaining comprehensive notice records and audit trails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze tax and regulatory notices to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  • Prepare draft replies and supporting documents to address client concerns.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to resolve notice-related issues.
  • Conduct research using reliable resources to ensure accurate responses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve notice-related matters.
  • Track deadlines to ensure timely responses to all notices and compliance communications.
  • Assist clients in understanding notice implications and guide them through the resolution process.
  • Prepare technical and professional memos, letters, and summaries for client communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US tax compliance requirements and notice procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in handling tax notices is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written communication skills are essential for drafting formal letters and responses.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail are crucial.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with US tax systems, including Forms and IRS portals, is necessary.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Urdu is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
