We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer who can design and implement attractive and functional websites for clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for backend development, implementing WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, and security updates.

About the Role:

  • You will meet with clients to discuss website design and function, designing and building the website front-end, creating the website architecture, and designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • You will generate WordPress themes and plugins, conduct website performance tests, troubleshoot content issues, conduct WordPress training with the client, and monitor the performance of the live website.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.
  • Proven work experience of 5+ years as a WordPress developer.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and OOP concepts.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage projects. Good communication skills.
