Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Configuration Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing technical aspects, administrative processes, and management governing identification, change control, status accounting, and auditing of systems or software and their constituent components archives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Directs software application development through code compilation
  2. Develops scripts for code assembly, administrative, deployment, and other purposes
  3. Enhances features and development in source control tools and the SCM process
  4. Maintains performance integrity of code across multiple environments
  5. Establishes Configuration Management Policies & procedures with Project Manager and Process Department
  6. Provides training to office staff on databases, tools, techniques, and tasks related to configuration management
  7. Understands code dependencies and daily build variations
  8. Deploys code to various development and testing environments
  9. Troubleshoots broken builds and malfunctioning environments
  10. Proofreads/audits code
  11. Manages and controls code (source, binaries, environment configuration files)
  12. Administers change management processes required to manage code effectively

Requirements:

  1. Requires knowledge of the incremental software development life cycle
  2. Effective oral and written communication skills
  3. Knowledge of ISO and CMMI Level 5 is beneficial
  4. Programming skills in C#, ASP.NET ADO.Net, ADO, Classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript/VBScript
  5. Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD, and OOP)
  6. Database Programming (Stored Procedures, PL-SQL/T-SQL) with MS SQL Server 2000 or later
  7. Analytical Skills with Good level of Communication and Presentation Skills
  8. 2+ Years of Hands-on Experience on above mentioned skills
  9. BCS/BS in Computer Sciences, B.E in Computer Engineering-MCS/MS in Computer Sciences preferred
  10. MS Certification advantageous
