Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced full stack developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in Ruby on Rails (RoR) and Next.js, with a strong background in front-end and back-end development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining new web applications using Ruby on Rails and Next.js, as well as troubleshooting existing applications. They will also write and maintain clean, reliable code, develop and maintain back-end components, and integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and Next.js.
    • Familiarity with other common libraries/frameworks.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Good understanding of Ruby/JavaScript syntax and nuances.
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
    • Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs.
    • Proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Basic knowledge of server-side templating languages and CSS preprocessors like Sass/Less.
    • Familiarity with development tools such as Webpacker, Babel, and Redis.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks in code.
    • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
  • Version Control:
    • Proficient in Git and other version control tools.
  • Testing:
    • Familiarity with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Other Skills:
    • Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
    • Ability to design database schemas to support business processes.
    • Familiarity with continuous integration tools.
