Biostatistics Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Biostatistics Expert to join our team in the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field, and at least two years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will provide statistical data analysis support for manuscript and grant writing, design research study protocols, and develop assessments and tutorials for the MPhil in Biological and Biomedical Sciences program.

You will be responsible for actively contributing to the departmental Research Aims Methodology clinic, participating in teaching and assessment in graduate programs, and engaging in scholarly activities.

• Providing academic and research support for faculty and staff.
• Statistical data analysis support for manuscript and grant writing.
• Contributing to the development of new courses and designing research study protocols.
• Participating in teaching and assessment in graduate programs.

• A minimum of Master's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of statistical principles relevant in medical research.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and statistical skills.
• Proficiency in R software and SPSS software.
• Good research project organizational skills with the ability to work with biomedical sciences researchers.
• Demonstrated ability to have contributed towards the building of successful research projects.
• Proven ability to develop graduate teaching courses in biostatistics.
