Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Financial Management Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial accounting and reporting, with a strong background in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements of the company, standalone and consolidated, under the IFRS and Companies Act 2017, ensure tax-related issues and regulatory processes are addressed.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee management of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions.
  • Audit: Deal with external audits of the company (half-year review and annual), and ensure all audit queries are addressed promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Support training and development of accounting staff, providing guidance and training, to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and systems. Must have knowledge of ERP Systems, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Partially or fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting management.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS, Companies Act 2017, Income Tax Ordinance, and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills & Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
