IT Executive Leader

Job Title: Technology Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to oversee the planning, implementation, and management of our organization's application and use of technology and business applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and providing recommendations regarding information technology software and systems. They will also oversee project coordination, technical training, network engineering, hardware and software maintenance, fund management, meetings and seminars, personnel functions, document preparation, software research, inquiries, liaison services, and software development.

• Project Management: Coordinate multiple projects to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
• Technical Training Development: Design and develop technical courses for training personnel in the use of computer applications.
• Network Architecture: Engineer computer networks to provide reliable communication applications.
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain computer hardware and software applications using service contractors to ensure availability of instructional materials and district operations.
• Fund Control: Monitor fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity to ensure accurate allocations and expenses within budget limits.
• Collaboration and Communication: Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to convey and/or gather information required to perform functions.
• Prioritization and Organization: Perform personnel functions such as interviewing, evaluating, supervising, etc. to maintain adequate staffing, enhance productivity of personnel, and achieve objectives within budget.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare various materials such as reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, etc. to document activities, provide written reference, and/or convey information.
• Software Evaluation: Research software applications and hardware requirements to preview products and provide recommendations regarding applications and purchases.
• Information Dissemination: Respond to inquiries to provide information and/or direction.
• Liaison Services: Serve as liaison to software/hardware providers to convey and/or receive information and coordinate district activities.
• Software Innovation: Actively involved in the design and development of both open source and desktop software applications in PHP/MySQL, ASP.NET (MVC)/MSSQL Server, C#.

A graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, along with software development experience of more than 3 years, IT management experience of 5 years, and training experience of 3 years.
