Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle & Infrastructure Engineer to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database environments, Linux administration, infrastructure management, and DevOps practices.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database environments ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. They will also utilize Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Database Environment Management: Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database environments ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Automation and Deployment: Utilize Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
  • Linux Administration: Provide expert-level Linux administration to ensure system stability, performance, and security across the infrastructure.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improving operational efficiency.
  • Integration and Troubleshooting: Work closely with development teams to integrate Oracle databases into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Oracle databases, infrastructure, and system performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize infrastructure solutions for cloud or on-premises environments.
  • Compliance and Security: Implement and manage best practices for database optimization, system monitoring, and incident management. Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry best practices in database and infrastructure management.
  • Infrastructure Improvement: Continuously improve infrastructure systems by researching new technologies and solutions for automation and optimization.
Key Requirements:
  • Total 15 years + experience in oracle development, linux, infrastructure, client dealing Azure, and databases management.
  • Proven experience with Oracle database development, implementation, and administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Linux administration, including server management, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Ansible for automating infrastructure management and deployment tasks.
  • Solid programming skills, with experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
  • Experience in implementing DevOps practices, including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
